On these pages we want to give an overview of our projects related to the development of generic software components. The shift to library-centric application design has shown significant advances since the advent of the C++ STL or the Java library collection. The effort of application development is thereby considerably reduced. Reusability and orthogonality of the libraries, as well as an overall high performance, are of utmost importance.
This new methodology to develop applications requires new skills which are not broadly known. Several new programming paradigms are available, new language features are continuously introduced, and new software components are finished worldwide. We therefore want to introduce this tutorial site. We present an introduction to programming as well as to multi-paradigm programming.
